lesson plan: CHECK!
I complain a lot about it, and there is no doubt in my mind that I am ready for a change in scenery — but before it ends, I’ve come to realize that I do, ACTUALLY (for the time being) love my job despite the trials and tribulations that come with it.
The no social life, the permanently swollen throat, the paint stains on all my favorite pairs of jeans, the public speaking all day everyday — all overshadowed by the 47 adorable little crazies and the amazing bunch of people I work with. We make kids smart and we’re really good at it.
It’s reassuring to know that when I’m old and saggy, I can look back and know that my first ever job was very much worth my while.
